Importing ExamView Tests Into the Moodle Testbank

Here’s what you have to do to get your examview tests into the moodle testbank: (remember to create categories for your questions to keep them organized)

In ExamView:

  1. open the test
  2. file, export, change the save as question type to ExamView Question Bank
  3. open the question bank
  4. file, export, change the save as type to ExamView XML

In Moodle:

  1. add a quiz
  2. import
  3. Import questions from file–change the File format to Examview
  4. Import from file upload–browse to the ExamView XML file, and Upload the file
